TV8 Appearance

Chiefs Karl Bauer and Robert Ticer discuss the proposed Joint Public Safety Facility, which would provide a larger space for the Avon Police Department, which has outgrown its current location. It would also function as a regional station for Eagle River Fire Protection District (ERFPD).

As part of its Ballot Question A, ERFPD is also asking for funding that would also provide for the rebuilding of the Edwards Station at its existing location and a much-needed training facility. The new Edwards fire station will be just over 18,000 square feet and includes space for the District to expand the facility to a dual-company station when needed due to anticipated population growth.
